Week 2 | Day 3 THE WOMAN AT THE WELL John 4:1-42

Going out of His way through Samaria, Jesus sat down at Jacob’s well and struck up a conversation with a woman no one else would have chosen—a Samaritan woman who was deeply broken by her past. Crossing every cultural, racial, and religious barrier, Jesus exposed her thirst beneath the surface: a heart worn out by sin, shame, and failed relationships. Then He offered her Himself—the Living Water—promising that whoever believes in Him will never thirst again. The One who “told her everything she ever did” didn’t reject her; He forgave and restored her—because that is what grace does. The gospel she met that day was bigger than her sin, deeper than old wounds, and stronger than centuries of hostility.

APPLICATION

1. Let Jesus Meet You at Your Well

Bring Him your real need, not just your surface problems—He already sees and knows it all, and His grace is enough.

2. Believe and Drink Deeply

Jesus doesn’t offer religion but living water. Trust Him as Savior and let Him satisfy the deepest thirst of your soul.

3. Let Grace Redefine Your Story

Your past doesn’t have to define you; in Christ, shame gives way to forgiveness and a new identity.

4. Worship in Spirit and Truth

God is seeking worshipers whose hearts are sincere and whose lives align with His truth—not just people who go through religious motions.

5. Become a Bringer

Like the woman who ran back to her town, share what Jesus has done for you and invite others to “come, see” and drink from the same well of grace.

PRAYER

Lord Jesus, Thank You that You crossed every barrier to meet a broken woman—and that You do the same for me. You see my past, my sin, and my deepest thirst, yet You offer me living water and a new life in You. Today I come honestly to You. Forgive me, cleanse me, and satisfy my heart with Your grace. Teach me to worship You in Spirit and in truth, and use my life to point others to the well that never runs dry. In Your name I pray, Amen.
